"TOPS" Juried Exhibition

"TOPS" Exhibition was at The Durango Art Center in September 2012.  Each juried participant is given a tunic tee shirt to redesign, embellish or reconstruct using various methods. This is my Top. The tee shirt was stenciled with antique Japanese stencils. The vest is reconstructed from a linen jacket and also stenciled with antique Japanese stencils. The obi/scarf is hand dyed in the Shibori method of itajime and then discharged.
